The clock’s 8 day movement runs and strikes very well. Green Onyx base with overall bronzed metal surface that is flaking in some areas. The combination is very beautiful as well as collectable. Moreau whose French family made world renowned statues. The signed movement is by AD Mougin who was a premier French clockmaker of his time. The hands and pendulum are original and the height is 8.75 inches.This is a stunning antique, french figural clock statue from the late 1800’s. It is an 8 day wind time and strike in a very pretty oval glass case. This is a four glass crystal regulator, more rare due to oval glass, made approximately in the late 1800s to just turn of the last century.
